A non refundable deposit of the first night stay per room is required to secure your reservation. If in case no show you will be charged the full amount of the booking.


Guests are reminded that a booking is a legally binding contract. In the event of a cancellation the deposit is not refundable. We will make all reasonable efforts to re-let the accommodation, but if this fails, guests are respectfully reminded that they are liable for the full cost of the booking. If you cancel outside of 7 days of the booking, we will only charge the deposit. We strongly recommend you insure against the possibility of cancellation.

Where the guest gives credit or debit card details in order to make payment of a deposit it is agreed between the parties that in the event of cancellation the Guest house may debit the guest’s card with the full amount of the cancellation charge less an allowance for any deposit or payment already received.

The Guest house reserves the right to cancel a booking forthwith without liability on its part in the event of damage or destruction to the Guest house by fire or other causes, any shortage of labour or food supplies, or any other cause beyond the control of the Guest house which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking. In such an event the Guest house will refund the deposit made but will have no further liability to the Guest.


Payment can be made by debit/credit card, or cash on the day of arrival. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Electron, Maestro and Solo. We no longer accept cheques. There is no surcharge for credit card transactions.

Family Rooms

Family rooms may be let without full occupancy. However, should guests use the “spare” beds then there will be a charge of £20 per bed to cover linen cleaning costs.

Lost Keys

Lost keys are charged at £30.

Damages & Cleaning

Please report all damages and accidents to the Guest house. There may be a cost charged. If you leave the guest house without reporting breakages then the Guest house reserves the right to charge a guest following departure.


At the request of our guests we do not allow SMOKING. We have the right to charge £70

if smoking is detected in the room.

Special Needs

When enquiring about accommodation, please tell us of any special needs or requirements you may have, so that we may advise on the suitability of the rooms we offer. All our bedrooms are on the first and second floor and thus only accessible by stairs with a secure handrail. We do not have a lift.


We can accept pets by prior arrangement, the cost is £7 per night per dog.

Arrival/Departure Times

Arrival time is by prior arrangement (Please refer to Check in Arrangements). Check out time is 10.30 am on day of departure.
